Our Team

Heather is originally from Washington State and came to Thailand after spending ten years working in the Los Angeles film industry. She has been doing anti-trafficking work in Thailand since 2011, first as a program coordinator for Taw Saeng, an after school program, and then as a case manager for child victims of abuse and trafficking with HUG Project. Heather is passionate about fighting injustice in whatever form it may take.

Butsaba is from the Mae Hong Son province of Thailand and has a degree in Biblical Studies. She has gained many valuable skills working with children and families through her previous work with at risk children: first as a dorm parent with Im Jai home and, later, as Spiritual Director for Taw Saeng, an after school program. Butsaba is passionate about working with at risk children and their families.

Jay, Butsaba's husband, is from the Phayao province of Thailand. He has a degree in Veterinary Science and is about to complete his degree in Biblical Studies. He has previous experience in administration and community development with Life Development Center in Nan. Jay is passionate about caring for the "least of these" and teaching others how to effectively protect the children in their care.
